Asset families are groups of similar assets, such as multiple styles of the same brochure, that you would like to connect without replacing any of the assets. The families are attached to an original, or parent, asset. Once you have chosen a parent asset, you can connect other assets as children.
Add Children to an Asset Family
Search for the assets you consider the “children” or variations of the parent asset.
Select them.
Go to More Actions in the toolbar at the top of the browsing pane.
Select “Add to Asset Family” from the dropdown menu.
