Vault is equipped with powerful search engines. For tips on improving the searchability of your assets, see our articles on Metadata.



Global Search

  1. Click the search bar in the upper left of your account and enter your search terms

  2. Click one of the options produced by the auto-fill tool, or press Enter

  3. View the assets in the viewing pane

Filtered Search

  1. Click the search bar in the upper left of your account and enter your search terms

  2. Click one of the options produced by the auto-fill tool, or press Enter

  3. View the assets in the viewing pane

  4. Scroll through the filter options on the left-hand side of the screen and select the relevant filters

  5. Click Apply

  6. Add or remove filters as desired


Tip: If you do not see the filter options, click the small arrow button on the left side of your results. Use this to hide the filter panel when not in use.



Taxonomy Search

  1. Click the Taxonomy icon 

  2. Check the boxes next to the categories you want to view.

  3. Click Search at the top.

Adjust View Settings

  1. Click the gear symbol to the right of your search results.

  2. Check the boxes next to information you want displayed.

  3. Adjust background color.

  4. Adjust the display size.


Tip: Vault will remember your preferences until you adjust them again.
