Vault Collections mimic the folder structure you’d find on your computer or server. They are a great way to organize and present content for your users. To create a Collection, watch the video or follow the instructions below.


Create a New Collection (Uploading)

  1. Create an Upload Set 

  2. Select Assign Collection from the initial form

  3. Select +Collection

  4. Provide a name

  5. Fill in the desired information using the options provided. Skip any irrelevant categories.

  6. Click submit

  7. Add assets to your Upload Set


Tip: All assets added to this Upload Set in the future will automatically appear in the assigned collection.


Create a Collection while Browsing

  1. Use the search function to find the desired assets. (See Searching the Archive for more information)

  2. Select the desired assets

  3. Click the Collection icon in the toolbar at the top of the browsing pane or press Shift + C

  4. Select +Create New Collection from the dropdown

  5. Give your Collection a name

  6. If this is a subcollection, choose a Parent Collection from the dropdown. If this is not a subcollection, ignore this step. 

  7. Click Save


Create a Collection from an Existing Upload Set

  1. Go to the Assets tab at the top left of your account.

  2. Scroll until you see the Sets section.

  3. Select Upload Sets.

  4. Scroll or use the search bar to find the desired Upload Set.

  5. Click the Collection icon next to the collection


Tip: To edit the settings for your new collection, go to Assets>Collections>View All>Your Collection and click the pencil tool.
