Storage allows you to build a customized report on the current storage utilized in your Vault account. The default is all assets in the account laid out in a table format by Type, Count, and Storage so you can see everything at a glance. There is also a pre-populated chart that illustrates the history of growth; this makes it easy to see when there has been a sudden spike or slump in your storage, or when it might be a good idea to upgrade your account.

The y-axis depicts storage in GB and the x-axis divides your account into quarters, or three-month intervals.

To build a custom report, apply the filters you need. Current filters include:

  • Type of Asset
  • Timeframe
  • File Size
  • User
  • Permission Level
  • Upload Set
  • Collection
  • Specific Asset(s) via catalogue numbers

You can select filters through checkboxes, dropdown menus, and by filling in fields such as Timeframe, File Size, and Catalogue Numbers. When you've selected everything you need, click the green Filter button. If you want to start over, click Clear. See the chart below for more information on the filters.

Once all of your desired data is ready to go, you can review it in Vault or download it in CSV or XLS. Download options are at the bottom of the page. Please note that the download speed depends on your device and the size of the report.
