Vault offers the option to include quality control in your workflow option through the Curation feature. All assets uploaded to Vault, unless otherwise designated, begin as pending curation. Please note that assets are counted towards your total storage upon upload. Accepting or Rejecting an asset will not affect its impact on your storage. To completely remove an asset from your total storage,  delete the asset from the account. 



View Assets Pending Curation

  1. Go to the Assets tab at the top of the page.

  2. Scroll until you find the Curation Category. 

  3. Select Pending Sets. 

  4. You will see all Upload Sets with pending assets in a searchable table with a running count of accepted, pending, and reject assets at the top for easy reference.


Curate Individual Assets

  1. Click on the asset. 

  2. Click the thumbs up to accept or the thumbs down to reject. 

  3. Hotkey option: Hover your cursor over them and press ‘A’ to accept, ‘X’ to reject, or ‘P’ to mark pending. 

Curate Assets in Bulk

  1. Select the desired assets.

  2. Go to More Actions in the toolbar at the top of the browsing pane. 

  3. Select Bulk Update Meta from the dropdown menu. 

  4. Clicks thumbs up to accept or thumbs down to reject the assets. 

  5. Click Update. 

Undo Asset Rating/Mark None


When you are using the Bulk Edit Metadata tool and accidentally mark all of the selected assets as Accepted or Rejected, you can undo this action while you’re still in the edit modal by using the Mark None category.

  1. Click “Mark None” in Curate.

  2. Click Update. This will maintain the pre-Bulk Edit curation state of each of the selected assets.

Assign Ratings (1-10 Stars)

  1. Individual: Click on the asset and click the desired number of stars

  2. Individual: Hover over the asset and hit 1 for one star, 2 for two stars, etc. For 10 stars, hit zero. 

  3. Bulk: Select assets you want to give the same rating, go to More Actions>Bulk Update Meta and select your rating. 


Tip: The higher an asset’s rating, the higher it will appear in search results.

Skip Curation


When you are creating a new Upload Set, you can automatically approve the assets you add to it. 

  1. Click the checkbox next to “Automatically accept assets?” located right under the name box when creating a new Upload Set.
