If you've created a field in error or have finished experimenting with a particular category, you can permanently remove a Custom Metadata Field. As this action cannot be undone, make sure that you are positive that the category can be removed before proceeding.
Delete Custom Metadata
Go to the Assets tab.
Scroll until you see Custom Metadata.
Find the Category or subcategory you wish to delete.
Hover and click the trashcan icon when it appears.
- Confirm your choice.
