The primary purpose of Permission Levels is to securely restrict user access. Permission Levels can be a complex and ongoing process, so Vault comes with a way to switch to other users. Admins primarily use this feature to: 

  • Test what users have access to if you've made recent changes
  • Troubleshoot by taking control of a user's account


Switch to User

  1. Go to Users>All Members
  2. Find the account you want by searching or scrolling
  3. Click the switch icon to the right of their name
  4. Wait for Vault to refresh



Once you've finished seeing what the other user experiences in their account, you can either sign out or switch back to your admin account. 


Switch Back to Admin

  1. Hover over the user's name in the upper right of Vault
  2. Click Switch back to Admin from the dropdown menu
  3. Wait for Vault to refresh
