There are a number of options under the General Settings section of Organization Settings for personalizing and managing your Vault account.

Organization Name

Most accounts use an abbreviation for their account subdomain and spell out their full name under the Organization Name option. For example, Vault's demonstration account has demo.tandemvault.com as its domain, with demo as the subdomain. "Tandem Vault Demo" is the account's full name, so that is stored in our Organization Settings.

The name you choose will become part of the watermark on all assets, which is visible when browsing in Vault and on all Preview downloads, so do not treat this as internal-only information.

Homepage Style

There are two homepage styles: Dashboard and Collections. The Dashboard style is the default option, with a global search bar and space for Featured Collections and Featured Content.

The second option skips the landing page format and takes users directly to the Browse Collections view, normally accessed via the Assets tab. Both options have their merits, and the choice is really up to you. If your organization has a large array of collections and you'd prefer to guide visitors directly to certain ones, the Dashboard option allows you to easily highlight what's important or interesting.

We recommend experimenting during the first few weeks and getting feedback from users. You can always change the layout later on if you change your mind.

If you select the Dashboard homepage, you might want to customize the background image. This is the first image your users will see when they log in, so choose something high-quality and inviting. Don't forget to add your logo!

Time Zone

Select the correct time zone from the dropdown toggle to make sure the account has your preferred time zone.

Email Notifications

You can specify different staff to receive emails generated by Vault users. You can add as many as you need; just separate them with commas. We recommend making a note to update these if the staff designated as recipients move on.
