If you create a taxonomy tag in error, you can quickly remove it from the system by following these steps. Because deleting a category will remove it from all the assets where it has been applied, Vault will check with you to confirm before allowing you to proceed. 


Delete Taxonomy Tags 

  1. Click the Taxonomy or press Ctrl+Shift+T

  2. Click the boxes next to the categories you wish to delete. 

  3. Click Delete at the top. 


Note: If you delete a Taxonomy Tag with sub-categories, all of the sub-categories will also be deleted. 


Tip: Deleting a top-level category will also delete all sub-categories.
