Guided Upload Sets are a tool for personalizing the Upload Set experience. Creating or modifying a Guided Upload Set requires you to go through the same motions as your user so that you will be able to experience the set from their perspective. Feel free to delete your practice assets when you're done. 


To restrict a user to Guided Uploads, edit the Permission Level or customize an individual user. 


Note: If you se a Taxonomy in your account and would like users to add tags when they upload, contact us at info@tandemvault.com to have this feature enabled.

Create a Guided Upload Set

  1. Go to Assets>Sets> + New Guided Upload Set
  2. Click on the text to fill in your customized instructions
  3. Add Files
  4. Click Next
  5. Adjust text as you go, clicking the checkmarks to save your changes

Edit a Guided Upload Set

  1. Go to Assets>Sets> + New Guided Upload Set
  2. Click on the existing text to make your changes
  3. Add Files
  4. Click Next
  5. Adjust text as you go, clicking the checkmarks to save your changes

The best way to test a Guided Upload Set is to log into the account of a user who will be affected by it. 


Test a Guided Upload Set

  1. Go to Users>All Members
  2. Find the account you want by searching or scrolling
  3. Click the switch icon to the right of their name
  4. Wait for Vault to refresh
  5. Click the blue Upload button
  6. Go through the process of uploading assets, taking note of any areas that are confusing or have typos
  7. When you're finished, hover over the user's name in the upper right of Vault
  8. Click Switch back to Admin from the dropdown menu
  9. Wait for Vault to refresh
  10. Make any necessary changes to your Guided Upload Set by following the Edit steps
